Cloning makes it easy to take an existing project structure including folders and sub-folders as well as users and specific user permissions (role templates) and apply it to a new project.
The optional cloneUsers parameter also allows for just copying a project structure without sharing access with other users.
Permissions
Only users with the PROJECT MANAGER permission can create projects.
